What’s the story? Men with azoospermia (aka without sperm in their semen), account for up to 10-15% of all cases of male infertility. Until recently many of these individuals could only become parents using donor sperm or through adoption. However, modern surgical techniques of sperm extraction in combination with the use of assisted reproductive technologies, make it possible today to effectively overcome infertility in this group of patients.
