Workouts can boost clear thinking and decision-making – under the right circumstances

In 10 seconds? Researchers have confirmed that exercising in low-oxygen environments can hamper cognitive function. But, there is a “rebound” function that can actually boost clear thinking and decision-making after a workout.

What’s the story? Getting into middle age I tend to ignore the mantra about the benefits of working out. But it seems exercising, including short moderate-intensity workouts which I like best, could improve clear thinking and decision making. This would place me in a group of people who can normally think clearer and make better decisions than I can.
